From the glaciers to the moraines
63 million years ago Africa and Eurasia began to move towards each other.
Thus the huge sea between the two lands called Teteide began to disappear and slowly many chains of mountains started to appear among wich the Alps. Our regions originated between 28 and 5 million year ago too. The force of the geological movements influenced by the presence of the massive Adamello mountain, particularly deformed the western side of the valley of Garda.
