Delicious cakes matched with special wines, authentic flavours, the village dressed in all its finery, an itinerant barrel-organ, an old accordion, lanterns, suffused lighting and the inhabitants’ warm hospitality create a truly magic atmosphere as guests enjoy a dolce serata … a “sweet evening” with the evocative flavour of times past.
Robabore fantasy currency!
The only currency accepted as payment for the cakes during our Dolce Serata is Robabore fantasy currency. “Robabore” is the nickname given to the inhabitants of Sermerio. Banknotes may be exchanged at the special cashier’s desks in the Pro Loco offices in Tremosine.

Traditional Recipe
APPLE FRITTERS
Use apple “pomèle de la rösa” which are a little bit sour.
For 6 apples you'll need
1 pinch of salt, 250 ml of milk, some raisins and
1 touch of baking soda and cream of tartar.
Make a batter with all the ingredients,
dip the sliced apples into the batter and deep fry in olive oil or lard.
